A day of drama for the iron men of Crosby beach, a noon high tide with strong north westerly winds, squalls of rain riding across the sea like grey sails and sudden bursts of sunlight throwing everything into sharp relief.

RON DAVIES LBIPP has been a professional photographer based in Liverpool for the last thirty years,working mainly in the commercial, public relations and portrait sectors of photography with clients throughout the country.
The photography of Liverpool is his personal project to promote the beauty and landscape of the city through his picture library from which this selection of prints has been produced.
